Well, now you can at the Blueberry Ball. This isn’t just any old ball; this is a semi-formal or black tie and vintage dress or prom to formal dress up dance for adults! Join us for a night of Hors d’oeuvres and dancing! Ribbons are given for various categories including: best ‘blue’ couple, best dancers, and best vintage apparel, to name a few. And of course, there’s the crowning of the King and Queen of the Ball. All proceeds go to “Jessica’s Closet” (where you can rent dresses) a non-profit created in memory of Jessica Bolognani, A Place to can rent gowns/semi formal dresses, shoes, purses, and accessories. ~Blueberries for the Beasts at Boyd Family Farm

It’s not always easy to see how the many plants and animals of Vermont’s ecosystems are important to us and each other. Unless we’re talking about blueberries! The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will bring it’s Vermont Wildlife program to the Boyd Family Farm for the blueberry festival with a special focus on how those delicious blue nibblets fit into the food web. Live animals, touchable artifacts and an interactive presentation will culminate in a short hike to sample some of the wild blueberries that grow around the Boyd Farm property. Blues on the Blue Brook is back at the Matterhorn Inn for yet another  
year. This is a two weekend event kicking off the Friday August 5, 2011.The
Matterhorn Inn will be have plenty of Blueberry beverage specials, as well as
Blueberry Buffet, mixed in with some Blues music. If you choose to sit on
the patio located on the Blue Brook or in our great room you will be geared
to have a great time. Reservations for dinner are appreciated but all are

This beginner friendly tri starts off with a ¼ mile swim in Snow Lake, continues with a 12 mile bike ride down Handle Rd and finishes with a 3 mile run through the Mount Snow property.
